Hello. I can't get m4a files to play in Android or the web player. I've tried some suggestions from the forums, but they all suggest checking the box for m4a > mp3 under "Active transcodings." I don't have a box for that particular chain.

What am I missing?

Just add it in Settings/Transcoding

Under the list there's a section to add new transcoding info.

Add:

m4a > mp3 | m4a | mp3 | ffmpeg -i %s -f wav - | lame -b %b - -

Den don 4get 2 hit da SAVE button!!!! :D

Ah! That did it!

m4a > mp3 was already in my list of transcoding info, but it didn't appear on the player page for whatever reason. Adding in the new line, as per your suggestion, did the trick.

Thanks for the help. No more doubling songs in my library. :)

Scroll to right of transcoding page and see checkboxes...

Oh my God. I was all ready to come back and say, "They were all checked," but of course I didn't know anything existed past "Default."

I just knew this one had to have a simple solution. I missed that completely. I must have unchecked them at some point months ago while searching for a solution, and then promptly forgot everything.
