love the video player in 4.3 beta1 but have some issues
Posted: Fri Jan 07, 2011 3:05 pmOK in terms of your video player - its AWESOME! (though i now need a faster cpu on my server). though your software overall still needs some work.
1) your search engine is BROKEN! (this is not new - been in play since 4.2 when you changed engines) i cant find any of my music using your search system anymore - this is quite frustrating- the results in the search window are not even close to relevant as far as i can see.
Go have a look at at AMAROK, and steal their search mechanism - it is GREAT!
2) your video player needs to open a new tab/window when you click play on a given video
3) I need a way to disable your video player - its nice, but it gets in the way of me raw streaming my videos to totem via "External Media player with playlist"
4) that donation notice with no way to turn off the video player concerns me - i get the feeling im going to have a broken subsonic installation when feb 6 2011 rolls around. not cool
