creating playlist (yeah, another one)

I have searched through the help topic and have not found exactly what I am looking for. I have no idea how to create a playlist and have it seen by Subsonic. Let me rephrase...I have no idea how to create a playlist. I have never had a need for one, but now my wife is bothering me to create one for her. How do I create a playlist that can be seen/played using Subsonic? Can I just use WMP to create a playlist or do I need another program? Thanks for all the help!
