First off thank you, thank you, thank you! Subsonic is an amazing product, I WILL be donating next paycheck.

I noticed a possible bug when you have the same song in a playlist multiple times. The behavior I noticed was if the same song was in a playlist twice for example number 1 and number 4 were the same song it would play 1 through 4 but once the 4th track finished it would NOT move on to track 5 but start again at track 2, creating an endless loop of the same 4 songs. Is there a solution for this rather than reviewing playlists for duplicates?

If this has been listed or documented somewhere else my apologies I did search the forums before posting.

Yeah, I'm aware of this bug and it's been around for ages I'm afraid. I remember looking into it some time ago and wasn't able to find a fix for it then - but I'll have another go when time allows.

Sindre - Thanks, it is an easy one to remedy on my end.

Currently working on this. The dynamic refreshing is what's making this hard. What we need to do is make each instance of the same track unique, and have it remain unique even when the playlist is shuffled for instance.

i recreated this same bug in the webOS client, am hoping no one will notice. actually, probably just going to make it so that it doesn't allow the same song to be dumped into the playlist more than once, because that'll be a little bit easier than trying to make each instance of the song unique.

I was actually trying to make it dump the second song, but I got lazy. It's very annoying to work with at times.

does anyone know if there is any known fix / workaround for this yet ? i couldn't find any related bug on sourceforge. cheers.
