Hi,

I have an interesting bug.

I can play all my MP3's using Web Player, External Player fine.

However when I use Jukebox, which I use most of the time, (stream music through the house), Some albums do not play, just silence!

I fixed this by un-checking all the Active Transcodings for Audio
EG: wav > Mp3 , flac > mp3 etc.

The music plays now through the Jukebox, but it often stutters or pauses?

Any idea, I have checked MP3 headers on the songs and as mentioned before the MP3's play fine on winamp, Win Media Player etc. and locally through Subsonic on the desktop.

Any help please.

i have a similar problem. only here the jukebox doesnt work at all. everything else works. this is on ubuntu 9.04 with SS 4.3 stable. log looks like this

I assume that silence mans it's an un-fixable bug.

Very annoying not being able to play all my music in jukebox mode.

Hi,

Worked out the BUG and a fix.

I found that if a cover image is saved with the MP3 and that image is large then the MP3 will not play in Jukebox mode.

So my work around is to remove the image stored in the MP3 or replace it with a smaller image. I found that up to 220x220 seems to be OK.

Strange BUG the work around seems to solve it.
