On any of the computers I have tried the out come is the same. Sometimes I cannot log in. Doing nothing different, I can log in and stream, download, upload. Sometimes, it will lock up while playing a few songs.

When you installed your android app for Subsonic, the Subsonic Demo server should have been the first server listed in the settings. it connects to the Subsonic demo server at Subsonic.org. If you gert good performance there, then the problem is probably your server, if not you probably have an issue with the phone.

Got you. I didn't try the demo server on the phone, just went straight to my server. Figured there would be a problem with the server since the problem is the same wether it be phone, or 4 different computers remotly.

By any chance is your phone a Moto Droid?

You appear to have one of the rare cases where you have issues with both the phone and the server. The Droids have had problems right along that are talked about in other threads. The fix isn't always easy, but if you don't have a Droid we need to decide which problem you want to work on first, the phone or the server.
