I'm at a loss...

For some reason, the search functionality of Subsonic is not working in any capacity.

Any search results with: "No matches found."

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks,

cntrle

duh!

Figured it out as soon as I hit 'Submit' on my question.

Settings -> Search -> Update search index now.

Huzzah!

Sorry to bump an ancient thread, but my search feature hasn't worked since about 2012. I figured it was a database issue or just that it was running on Windows. Over the weekend, since 5.0 was released, I decided to deploy a Linux instance -- I've found that search does not work on it either. I've tried manually rescanning the library, deleting/readding the library, and cleaning up the database, all to no avail.

Files are stored on NAS, I've tried Samba and NFS.

Any ideas?

Hello,
i have the same problem, i use Subsonic version 5.0 build 4100,
Windows 7 Pro. and my mp3 files are on a USB disk.
when I use the search function I always get the same message.
"No matches found" o.k. not realy, i use the German translation, "Keine Übereinstimmung gefunden."

thanks for your help! :D
Best regards
Manfred
