First of all I'd like to say thanks for a great app, it's the first of the many I have tried that works for me.
I am struggling to get to see video files in the library. I can use the search option and certain file types will show up, but none show in the library screen.
Can anyone help?

in addition, when using a browser instead I can only see certain files, and not all of them.
There appears to be either a file size limit or a format/codec issue.

You should not be having problems if Subsonic is set up correctly.
Are your video files in a seperate directory and is that directory entered properly w/o typos, into the Music Folders settings. i.e. Do you have a seperate listing Movies | C:\Movies or something similar?
Under Settings/General Do you have the proper entries in the mask settings?
Music mask: .mp3 .ogg .aac .flac .m4a .wav .wma
Video mask: .avi .mpg .mpeg .flv .mp4 .m4v .mkv .mov .wmv .ogv

Thank you for the support, I'll try to answer your questions accurately.
I have 2 servers set up on 2 PC's here at home, 1 for music and 1 for movies. The music server works perfectly, and I can connect to the movies server and even select a folder however the contents of the folders just fail to show.
In this case my movie files are in a directory D:/Childrensfilms/dvdrips and all the mask settings are as you have written them. However no videos show up in the menu, somewhat strangely I am able to search to and play video files using the search option.
Any ideas?

I have had a breakthrough.
Rather than naming the specific folder (d:/Childrensfilms/dvdrips) that the video files are in I have gone up a level and changed it to D:/ChildrensFilms The menu then shows the DVDRips folder and when I choose that the contents are visible.
Strange, but at least it now works.
