FFMPEG While browsing video folders?

Postby BrianDelShasta » Thu Jan 27, 2011 5:28 am

I'm troubleshooting some general slowness in navigation. One thing I've noticed is every time I click into a folder containing video files an ffmpeg process starts up and nails the proc until the folder is displayed. The more video files in the folder the longer it takes. It seems to cache the information it generates until the jetty server is restarted. At this point it seems to forget and goes back to not loading the folder until it does its ffmpeg thing.

What is ffmpeg doing? It does not seem to happen when browsing music folders.

Any ideas?
