Metro PCS Android & Subsonic

I've been running Subsonic on a Metro PCS Android phone a couple months with no problem until recently...

I'm running latest version of both client and app on Windows XP and Android 2.2. I've forward all ports (not using port 80) correctly, SSL and non-ssl, and am using the subsonic sub domain.

Connecting via web browser works on local network as well as non-local network. Connecting via Android app on local and non-local wi-fi works fine but fails when i try connecting via Metro PCS 2G. (It used to work before...)
I also tried via a Sprint 3G Android phone and it does connect via 3G.

Also, I am able to connect to Subsonic demo server via Metro PCS 2G. so I'm guessing this rules out the fact that Metro PCS is blocking this service because I'm actually able to connect to demo server.

Anyone else here have Metro PCS with an Android phone that's having issues connecting via 1x (which is basically 2G)?

I'm having the same issue. 1x worked for a couple months, then just stopped working. Wi-Fi works fine. It's kinda aggrivating. Is there something Metro PCS can do. I just bought my wife the Huwai Ascend with Android 2.1 on the 2nd of February, and it's doing the same thing. Any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated.
