Playing Videos

After entering the license key and setting up the folder I am able to see a list of my videos but there is no link to click to actually play the videos.

These are a mixture of avi's, mkv's etc.

This is a Windows 2003 system running V.4.4 (build 2172). I have the latest K-Lte codec pack installed.

Everything else is working flawlessly (well, except for the search feature).

Can anyone explain what it is I am failing at? I rather expected playing videos to be as seamless as playing music.

Thanks.

Thank you very much Gary, I've sent you a PM.

What I would really like is for the developer to chime in since I did in fact, pay for the software specifically for the use of the video streaming capabilities.

Thanks.

I've also moved some videos into the music folder with the same failure.

Thanks.

Ok, what's up with this? When I log in with the user ID I set up for you (Gary) the little arrows show up just as they should.

So......

I deleted the current users I had set up, recreated the profiles and lo and behold. there's the little arrows of which you speak.

The problem seems to be twofold, the entering of the license key maybe does not set persmissions properly for existing users and/or upgrading from 4.3 to 4.4 with the same permissions issue.

Either way the problem has been solved, thanks for making me think Gary.

Gary, since the issue is resolved I removed your user profile :-)

No problem. Just checked PM before reading post. Ignore PM.

Glad to see it's working.
