Several questions

Hello, and thank you for a great product. I am having dificulties changing tracks while playing music. Everytime I try to go to the next or previous track using the "Previous" or "Next" button on WinAmp or VLC, I am returned to the 1st track. Can I not change track while the player is receiving the stream? Also, how can I stream (or can I stream) video? What format should the video clips be? I have tried with .avi and .mpg files. One of the AVI file, I simply copied to my directory, and the other files were the result of ripping a DVD using K3B. The OS I am using is Linux from Arch Linux. Thanks

Hi there, and welcome to the forum!

To change tracks you have to use the web interface (as the playlist is kept server-side, rather than client-side). Click on a track in the playlist frame to skip to it.

To watch videos, you have to go to Settings > General > Music mask, and add the extensions you're interested in (.avi, .mpg). I have only limited experience with video streaming, but it seems that VLC works best.
