Bad username resolving subsonic

Postby kwekkerz » Tue Feb 15, 2011 7:40 am

Hello to all my fellow subsonic users...

I have trouble with bad username resolving. A user logs in, and get the name of another user ? Can someone tells me how to resolve this issue ?

i have Subsonic 4.4 installed on Ubuntu workstation 10.10 dedicated, with 500 mb memory assigned.

It could be something to do with the web browsers cookies. Deleting them could resolve the issue.
Best Regards

Make sure that your users aren't selecting someone else's player from the drop down list to the left of the player. When a listener uses a player then that player gets associated with that user. Instead of showing Player1, Player2, Player3.... it used to show the IP address of the computer that was last connected to that player. This was nice for advanced users, but it was confusing to see a bunch of IP addresses in the players list for the average user. In order to make it less confusing Sindre removed the IP from the player name but the concept is still the same.
