What exactly is Jukebox mode? It states music is played on the remote server. Is this feature used when you are at home? I see it can be enabled for each user, which confuses me. Say Im at work logged in via browser or logged in via mobile on my Android phone, what does Jukebox mode do?

Jukebox mode allows you to control the audio output on the computer that hosts the Subsonic Server. I haven't found much use for it, but I'm sure someone must have a use for it. Let's say you are at work and your significant other calls. (Was that politically correct or what?) Your S O says, "I know you've shown me how to do this but I can't find the new Lady Gaga album." So you, being the IT guru that you are, log into the server, select a player that is defined as "Juke box mode player" and you play the new album, and like magic, it don't play at the Office, it plays on the server at home! Your spouse praises your awesome techno-prowess and promises this will be a Valentines day to remember...

Yeah, sure ...

Gary,

Thanks for the chuckle "techno-prowess" hehe.

Going off your explanation does that mean the iSub "Toggle Jukebox" a remote control when you are at home?

I guess. Don't know for sure, I have an EVO 4G. I use the bluetooth on my EVO to pipe the music to a Bose Wave with Sound Liknk. I suppose you could do the same with any PC with bluetooth.
