Extremely Slow Loading Times (Please Help!)

So I actually got it up and running. I was so excited when my music came up. But then I realized how long it was taking. At least a minute load time browsing through the main music folders. When I get down into the album folders underneath it is fine and the music plays fine but the Artist folders take forever to load.

I've tried to thoroughly search for an answer but can't find any! Sorry!

To try and predict some questions:
1. My music is on an 2TB network hard drive.
2. I organize the files drive:\library\artist\album\file.mp3 (going from library to artist is what takes long)
3. the network drive is direct connected to a 10/100 (i believe) router (not gigabit ethernet)
4. running on windows 7
5. ???

I just went to GJ51's test site ansd noticed all his music loads on the left panel....i wonder if that would speed things up.

IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!

it was just a matter of pointing Subsonic at a better starting point for the music folders! (NAS\music vs NAS\music\library)! not sure WHY it worked but it did!! HELL yeah!

thanks indirectly to GJ51 haha! his demo site made me see the artist names were loading on the left, unlike mine!
