Speex transcoding

Hello, I searched the forums for information on this topic, but didn't have any luck - can anyone help me to configure subsonic to transcode out of .spx (speex) format? I have the speexdec.exe file installed in the transcode directory already, but I can't seem to get it to work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hasn't anyone worked out how to do this?

I've cleared two of the hurdles: the first is to add .spx to the music mask under "General" settings, so that I can see my files. The second is enabling the spx > mp3 box under the player settings. Now if only I could work out what the actual transcode settings should be. Speexdec allows stdout, but lame doesn't seem to want to pick up the file & run with it.
