Unlicensed trial server, not allowing me to stream

My friend recently decided to try out SubSonic. He setup his server, and got it working just fine, and he is still well within his 14 day trial.

He has about 6 friends all connecting in fine from the Android client..... except me.

I can connect, i can browse, but as soon as i try to play anything it says "Trial peroid is over, Get unlimited downloads by donating to SubSonic"

Indeed his server is still unlicensed, but it isn't out of the trial period yet and everyone else is connecting fine, just not me....

I've tried re-creating the connection in my client, to no avail.

When i go into settings and press "Test Connection" it says "Connection OK. Server unlicensed"

Is there some sort of restriction on the number of users in the trial that I am unaware of?

Does your app work on other SS servers? Is the app paid?

the app is always free, the license for the server is what needs the donation

i am unaware of a per user license limit for the trial, maybe try to get all the other users off and then connect. if that doesnt work try deleting your connection settings on all connections perhaps?

Yes, i can connect to my own licensed server, and many other of my friends servers. Just not this one.

I am using SubSonic on Android, the official client

oops..I missed the Android client part..sorry! Good to know the client install seems good, though. This is the first I've heard of a user limit in the trial window, but I suppose it's possible, but why it chose you? :P When your friend donates, let us know if that resolves it. 8)
