When I play a specific album on the Android application I'm getting the following error on WIFI and on 3G.
Error playing {song name}
Prepare failed.: status=0x1 (IOException)
The same album works fine on the web UI. Here is the url path to the file (if it helps) on the PC running Subsonic server.
C:\Users\Brett\Music\Thrice\Artist In The Ambulance\01 Cold Cash and Colder Hearts.mp3
Any help is greatly appreciated

It turns out that it's every album in that directory "Thrice"

I am having the same problem too with a particular album in my collection. My album is FLAC, but unlike the O.P., it does not play in the web interface or on SubAir. No error is generated, it will just skip each track until it reached the end. I checked to make sure there were no odd characters in the file name or ID3 tags. This album plays perfectly fine in Foobar or VLC. I have encountered no other problems (yet) with other FLAC files.
Me too

I'm having the same problem. It just started today. It's only certain albums, and it's only when I connect through 3G. Works fine on wi-fi.
ETA: For what it's worth, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and now it works.

I reinstalled my app too, but I didn't think it would matter because the album still doesn't play in my web interface. I thought something was wrong with the FLAC file, even though it plays on my PC. I decoded it to wav and then re-encoded it to a nhe Flac file. But that didn't work either. So I'm not sure what's wrong.

i'm getting this error on my android app frequently. it happens on 3g and wifi. if i keep trying to play the file, it will eventually work but may give me the error many times first. really annoying.
