Migrating subsonic

I am moving Subsonic from my PC to a dell poweredge server running win server 08 r2. I have Subsonic up and running on server 2008 and can access the front end with no problem. Now my questions are for moving my media library;
1. can I ran a separate Openfiler NAS server connected to my dell poweredge and be able to use the media from the NAS on subsonic?
2. can I just throw everything on an external hdd, USB it to the dell poweredge and run it that way?
3. how can i migrate subsonic onto my server keeping the same xxx.subsonic.org that was on my PC?

Subsonic Version: 4.4 (build 2172) – February 6, 2011
Server Version: jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_18, Windows Server 2008 R2 (28.5 MB / 34.6 MB)
Java Memory Limit: 1024
