[Android] Cached Music not found in offline mode

The android application shows the folder in the list, but when I click on it, it says "no music found". I can, however, find the files on the SD card in the usual place ([sdcard]/subsonic/music/folder/).
Also, when online, they are marked with a yellow or green asterisk depending on cache state (cached/ downloaded) as expected.
Troubleshooting Steps:
Browsed to the files on the SD card -- they are there
Tried to play them in the android player -- works fine
deleted them from the phone using subsonic app and recached them -- same behavior
deleted from phone and downloaded to phone -- same behavior
Playback Application and version: latest subsonic android client
Server Setup: Subsonic 4.2 on QNAP NAS with standard settings (standalone JAVA server with Sun ARM Java runtime). Online Mode works fine.
