Won't Run In Background - Closes Itself...?

Hi All,

Firstly - AMAZING software with just a few niggles that are preventing me from using it.

1) My music randomly started up without my touching the phone - can easily be solved by putting service to EMPTY when not using it but a pain nevertheless.

2) The main problem I have on my Android LG GT5400 Optimus is that if I press 'play' from within the app then it closes itself when I hit the home key, go into a different app or simply just press 'back' to get my homescreen on.

The app just stops, it doesnt force close or hang - it just stops and the icon disappears completely. There is another post knocking about from last year with the same problem but no answers.

Does anyone know what is happening please as Wi-Fi and data are present throughout.

Oh this is annoying...

It seems the player closes when I hit the home key or back keys to get to my android homescreens as I said before... but, if I cue up an album and dont play it from the app, but instead use the home button and press 'play' from the widget instead - then it will work and not close.

Something wrong with using the play button in the app.

Does anyone know what is going wrong or does the dev of this awesome software have any ideas?
