How do I get the Android App to scrobble Last.fm counts

When I play music through the browser everything scrobbles fine. When I play through the Android app, I am pretty sure it used to scrobble.

(It worked a little weird as it would scrobble everything it downloaded even if it didn't get played.)

Now I am getting no scrobbling through the Android app. Is there anything I can try to get this to work?

It stopped scrobbling because you upgraded your server to 4.4. In the 4.4 release the old way of scrobbling was disabled for players that use the REST based api, which the android app uses. The player has yet to be updated to call the new api so that it will scrobble again.

With the new api the scrobbling will be more as you expect it, because the client will be making the choice of what to scroble rather than the server which may or may not know your intentions when grabbing a song.

can't update LAME-tag frame! - is there anything I can do to prevent seeing that message? or should I start a new thread for that one.

The new version of the Android app (available sometime in the last 24 hours...) looks to re-enable the scrobbling from the Android Client.
