Venting therapy rant: subsonic is pissing me off

Service won't start.
Can't change settings - access denied.
Page not found.

Uninstalled. Reinstalled. Several versions.
Uninstalled Java. Reinstalled Java.

Tired of spending hours trying to get a reliable configuration.

Extremely frustrated. Sorry if I sound like a whiny prick.

I'm not a computer whiz, not even by a long-shot.

I know you need more info to help, but I'm so burned out on it right now that I need to walk away for a minute. I suppose it's time to sync my device. Gah...

Also,

Make sure that the PC you are trying to run subsonic, has enough resources to do so. I have not experiencced any of your issues, even I've ran the system through various PC specs.

At what kind of PC spec you are running the system?
How is it networked?
What antivirus software do you run? They can really take up most of the machines resources in worst cases..
