Removing old files in the Android... (Subsonic wont do it?)

Hello.

I read online somewhere that Subsonic doesn't automatically remove files that you've already listened to. Is this true? I don't have a lot of free space on my memory card and it's tedious to have to continue deleting songs in order to keep listening. Does anyone have a solution for this situation (other than to buy a larger memory card :p) It would be nice if the cache directory was a rolling cache directory, meaning it would keep the previous X number of songs that you listened to (and no more). As you listen to the songs, it removes the old ones.

Thanks.

You can set the cache size onthe Android app, but the smallest you can set is 500mb I believe.

It will keep only as much as the cache limit.

I bought a 32gb card and set the cache size to 20gb. Now I have a 20 gig "iPod" at my disposal when I am out of netwrok range, and I know it is the 20gb I listened to last...

HTH,

Thanks, that makes sense. I'm still running with an 8gb card. me thinks its time to upgrade to atleast to a 16gb to avoid this (and other) space issues.

Anyone know why I might have a 9GB directory even though my cache size is set to 5GB?
