"Error 503" when i try to go to my subsonic

I'm trying to get on my subsonic domain and i'm getting this error:

"HTTP ERROR: 503

SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE
RequestURI=/

Powered by jetty://"

I'm running it from my ubuntu server and the server is on and subsonic is running. It was working fine this morning when i was streaming to my android on the way to work. Can anybody help me please!!!!! Thank you.

What's in your logs? Maybe you just need to shut it down and restart it?

This was in the log but it hasn't been working since about 10:00 a.m.

[2011-03-31 17:38:17,725] ERROR DaoHelper - Failed to initialize database.

and i just tried this command:
"service subsonic force-reload
* Restarting Subsonic Daemon subsonic Started Subsonic [PID 1978, /var/subsonic/subsonic_sh.log]
[ OK ]"

And still the same error.

I even tried to just put in my IP with the port pointing to 4040...still 503 error

I'm on ubuntu 10.10 with the same error.


did you ever get this resolved?

I get the same curiously encouraging message when i restart the service too.
