that is going on here, connections to my ss server have been cut and then for a couple days started working and now non functional again, i get network error form mobile client and

Status: [servername] is registered, but could not connect to it. (ConnectTimeoutException)

How are you trying to make the connection? Are you using the Subsonic.org or your external ip:port#?

thanks for the reply, i have been using name and not ip, but this morning now both work and i can connect. the machine did not have a reboot nor did i restart the subsonic service, so the flakieness of resolving hosts might be lurking out there still.

i am streaming again hopefully without hickup.
