Search issue: Same artist in different root folders

I apologize if this has been addressed before; I searched the forum but didn't find anything related to this.

On my harddrive I organize my music by where I acquired it then artist/album. For example I might have "AmazonMP3/Daft Punk/Discovery" and "Ripped/Daft Punk/Alive". I have each of the "source" folders added as a 'music folder' in subsonic. (E.g. AmazonMP3, Ripped).

If I do a search for "Daft Punk", I get multiple artist results. Clicking on each one shows the set of albums from one particular source. E.g. clicking the first 'Daft Punk' shows only the albums I have from AmazonMP3.

If I click the artist name in the "artist bar" on the left side of the interface, it correctly shows all of the albums from the artist. So it's *just* the search results that exhibit this multiple artist behavior.

Is this a bug? Is there anything I can do to fix it besides combining lumping all of my music into one source folder? (I've considered 'virtually' combining them using symbolic links, but that seems a bit messier than a potential subsonic change)

Thanks!

Subsonic really likes the library organized by X:\Music\Artist\Album\tracks. It works best when organized this way, but addmitedly, the search function isn't the strongest feature of SS. Other apps, such as Media Monkey are better at search.
