g tablet and android app won't be friends

I use the android app on a number of devices but have been problems with my g tablet that I suspected were related to subsonic. it was confirmed when i found out a friend was having the same issue. we've both had the problem in vegan 5.1.1 and i have experienced it in tnt lite 4.5.2 (with and without clemsyns v9 froyo). If anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it.

First I will get an "error playing [insert file here]" whever trying to skip ahead on a track the first time. the track will go back to the beginning after which everything seems to work ok. however, every time I have used subsonic on the g tablet i have, a short time later, been treated to a spontaneous reboot and once the device has restarted i will have cascading FCs that I can not get rid of by clearing the cache and dalvik. I have to use clockworkmod backups to get it running again.

has anyone else experienced this? can anyone advice what i can do to find and resolve the problem?

if you have rom manager try a fix permissions. if you don't have it, reboot into clockwork and run the fix permissions through there. i think it's under advanced? i have subsonic on my gtab running g harmony's 2.3.3 and i've never had an issue. are you moving the app to the sd? not sure if that would be an issue or not. i would definitely try the fix permissions as that solves alot of FC problems. hope this helps.

I will try that next time it happens. The other guy said he had tried that and it did not help but we are not running the same rom any longer so who knows. He just busted out a pretty thorough market fix last night that I need to try also. If you're having trouble seeing death work and some of the other restricted apps ....
