Music without decoding

Postby micalb » Wed Apr 27, 2011 8:00 am

First of all i'm very happy with how subsonic works. It does the trick very well for me.
I would like one option though.
Can anyone tell me if it is possible en how to stream flac musicfiles over a local network without decoding it to mp3?

I've tried to uncheck te decoding box but then i heard nothing.

If you change your settings so that you play your music through an external player then you will be able to as long as that external player supports flac format.

in the web interface go to Settings>Players>External player

The other option is to convert flac>wav
