Hello, video playback / mp4 or wma to flv / on my android device very often stop playing and buffering , but network speed is much higher than playback bitrate needed.
I tried it on 3G /3G speed was 400 Kbps/ and video playback /choose 200 Kbps in Dolphin web browser/ very ofter stop and buffering and buffering.
On wifi /speed 4Mbps/ i choosen playback speed 200 Kbps too and video still
often stop and buffering.
Can i do something for good video playback? - maybe other settings in Subsonic server or play video on android device with other player ... ?

Music playback works fine - all my MP3 collection /bitrate 128-256 Kbps/ play great on EDGE connection , even when go by car.

Tried on my Nexus S and 7" Galaxy Tab , my videos are 720p 60fps mp4 files.

Sorry for my English.

Video playback on the phone gets pretty tricky even under the best conditions. Buffering can be caused by either connection speed issues or transcoding issues at the SS server. I format all my mobile video to flv so that it takes the transcoding out of the equation. Low res flv files will play pretty well if you have a decent 3g connection and are no problem with a decent Wifi connect.
