AudioScrobblerService failed with "bad timestamp"

Postby occulkot » Fri May 06, 2011 7:19 am

I'm having problem with scroblling to last.fm. Account and passwords are ok, music plays fine but in the log i can see message about bad timestamp.

Code: Select all
11-05-07 09:14:57 CEST]    WARN   AudioScrobblerService   Failed to scrobble song 'Perdition's Light' at Last.fm. Bad timestamp, please check local clock.
[11-05-07 09:14:57 CEST]    WARN   AudioScrobblerService   Failed to scrobble song 'Across the Qliphoth' at Last.fm. Bad timestamp, please check local clock.

Im sure i have correct time and timezone set up.

Version 4.4 (build 2172) – 6 february 2011
Server jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_25, Windows 7 (64,7 MB / 96,7 MB)

I have the same problem, Subsonic seems to use the wrong timezone for some reason. On mine it's apparently PDT although my computer clock is GMT+2 (a ten hour difference).
Code: Select all
[7/28/11 4:07:41 PM PDT]    WARN   AudioScrobblerService   Failed to scrobble song 'The Wonders At Your Feet' at Last.fm. Bad timestamp, please check local clock.

Any way to choose the correct timezone manually?
Code: Select all
Version   4.5.beta1 (build 2289) – June 19, 2011
Server   jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_26, Windows 7 (29.5 MB / 55.5 MB)

Are there any more users with this issue? Just wondering if it is something on the last.fm server side or something that can be fixed on my side.

I found the cause of this issue! I had some additional clocks set up under the Windows 10 settings. Once I removed the clocks the scrobbling started working again.

Could this be resolved somehow so we can have additional clocks and scrobble at the same time?

Jaume could you elaborate on the problem and solution you found? I am getting the same error and don't understand how you fixed it. Thanks.

Okay I figured it out. My BIOS clock was off! Crazy. Now scrobbling.
