Suddenly, my music files are not appearing on either my or other users Android phones (I have the HTC EVO). I have been up and running great for MONTHS (video streaming included) They appear just fine from the web browser. I couldn't get the demo site to run either- and got an error that forced Subsonic to close "The application Subsonic (process net.sourceforge.subsonic.androidapp) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." I uninstalled Subsonic from my droid and reinstalled. Now it won't accept my login credentials. I am using the EXACT SAME and it works fine on the web. Retried the demo site, force close again! Has something changed??? Help!

Version 4.4 (build 2172) – February 6, 2011
Server jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_23, Windows 7 (127.8 MB / 180.4 MB)
Memory cache on server alloted- 1000mb

New Note: Just tried playing from Browser on droid. Not working either but plays okay from PC based web Browser. Something is definately not working with ANDROID....

On an Evo here as well and I'm having the same problem. So is another friend who uses Subsonic on her Evo. Everything was working fine just yesterday.

Thirding this.

Latest version of the Subsonic client (on Motorola Droid 2.2 Sapphire ROM) and server (4.4 build 2172, java 1.6.0_24, Windows 7 x64).

Browser shows and plays music. Android client says "No music found".

Same problem on my Droid. If I kill the app and restart, some music shows briefly but after browsing to another folder it says "no music found" again.

Everything was working fine yesterday, this just started happening this AM so I'm not sure what could've changed.

I am having the same problem as well.

I know that nothing has changed on my phone in the last 24 hours and it was working fine last night.

When I do the server test it says it can connect, but that the server is unlicensed. Since I donated, I know that the second part isn't true.

Same thing here. Got in my car this morning and tried to get the morning NPR news podcasts to listen to via bluetooth car stereo on the way to work, as I always do, but to no avail. I listened to a radio station instead for the first time in months. Yuck.

I played with it for 10 minutes or so. Sometimes random stuff would show up in folders and trying to queue those would have the app tell me that my license has expired.

Now everything I try says, "No music found." This even happens on the demo server.

Same here! Been working splendidly for months, and all of a sudden this morning I got in the car, synced up to my BT CD Deck, and it shows no music. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Subsonic app on my Droid 2, and that did not help. In fact, it got worse: now it force closes everytime I try to look at My Music.

My wife has an identical Droid 2, and apparently hers is doing the same thing (though not force closing since she didn't reinstall the Subsonic app).

I also noticed when I test connection from my Droid 2, that it says the server is unlicensed (I most definitely donated for the full version so I know that can't be true).

I have 20 hours of driving to do next week: HELP!

*EDIT* I should also mention that I tried stopping and starting the service on my computer as well, which helped nothing.

I think you are on to something. All servers appear to be unlicensed, even the demo server.

Same here samsung galaxy s. I have found that the search feature functions, so those of you who rely on it might not be completely up a creek. Also the demo server will not function.

Just to let you know that I'm looking into this now.

I changed hosting for the subsonic.org server today, so it's probably related to that.

Will keep you posted.

Sorry for the inconvenience!!

Well it seems to either have fixed itself or perhaps someone feed the hamster.

If someone did do something, thank you.

It's working again now, at least on my Android phone. You might have to stop the Subsonic app (Settings > Applications) to get it back on track.

Again, I'm very sorry about this.

Still buggy for me. Whenever I select a folder it always goes to the same track, some random track, regardless of which folder i pick and that random track won't play either.
