JAVA
Code: Select all
java version "1.6.0_18"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.8.3) (6b18-1.8.3-2+squeeze1)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 16.0-b13, mixed mode)

OS
Code: Select all
Debian 6 stable (Squeeze)
Linux ##### 2.6.32-5-amd64 #1 SMP Mon Mar 7 21:35:22 UTC 2011 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Subsonic/jetty
Code: Select all
Version   4.4 (build 2169) – 6. Februar 2011
Server   jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_18, Linux (97,6 MB / 357,7 MB)

Everytime I close my browser (FF 4.0 and FF 3.6) without logging out of SS, the next time I load SS, log in with same account. But then when half the frames are loaded, it throws a dialog box saying "Error" with a button "Ok". After clicking it, (rest of the page is then in a sort of lightbox/shaded and unaccessible) the "Now Playing" tab only shows the last chat lines, but is completely unresponsive, shows no new chat lines, no other users that are on or what they play.

Well, I noticed that when I log out before closing browser, this does not happen. However, after the "Error" box shows once, it will do so everytime the above procedure is repeated. Only resolution is to restart SS server, then remember to log out next time.

No amount of browser/server cache cleaning can help me after that btw.
Has anybody encountered this?

Yes, I have the exact same problem. First I thought that it was a just a weird error dialog without any reason, but after reading your post I noticed that the right side panel really is not working. Playing music etc seems to work, but it's kind of annoying.

I don't have any errors in the log, is there something else to do to help solve this?

And in addition, logging out has no effect. This error popped the first time I logged in, and keeps coming no matter if I log out or not. Restarting the entire service seems to get rid of that, at least for now.
