I like to keep my FLAC and MP3's seperate. Its a personal preference so that I can easily tell what needs to be upgraded to FLAC down the road, when it becomes available.
my folder structure is as follows:
C:\Music\FLAC
C:\Music\MP3
C:\Music\WAV
C:\Music\Podcasts
Sometimes an artist will have some content only in FLAC, and some content only availible in MP3. So i might end up with a Radiohead folder under FLAC and a Radiohead folder under MP3, like such:
C:\Music\FLAC\Radiohead
C:\Music\MP3\Radiohead
Now if i add both C:\Music\FLAC and C:\Music\MP3 to my subsonic in the web interface, everything goes smoothly. When you view "All Folders" in the web interface it even combines the 2 folders into 1 "virtual folder" where all my Radiohead exists. So when viewing "all folders" all my Radiohead appears to be in one place. (even though it is technically in 2 places)
Why does this work fine in the web interface, but in the Android Client, i end up with 2 separate Radiohead folders when viewing "All folders"? Is this a bug, or an oversight? It would be a very nice feature to have for people who's music collection wont fit on 1 hard drive, or who manage the quality of their music like I do across multiple directories.
Basically: When viewing "All folders" in the android client, it would be nice for it to combine folders of the same name (and their contents)
