Upgraded to 4.4 now none of my WMA files play. My MPS files still work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's my logs looks like a problem with the transcoding.

[6/7/11 8:13:21 AM EDT] INFO PlaylistInputStream admin listening to "Whatever's Cool With Me\02 Sideways.wma"
[6/7/11 8:13:21 AM EDT] DEBUG TranscodeInputStream Starting transcoder: [c:\subsonic\transcode\wmadec] [\\Ts-tgl7da\Music\Win_Music\Dinosaur Jr\Whatever's Cool With Me\02 Sideways.wma]

Here's my trans coder

Mine play with the default settings:

ffmpeg -i %s -v 0 -f wav -

lame -b %b --tt %t --ta %a --tl %l -S --resample 44.1 - -

When you upgraded, maybe it removed the contents of the transcoder folder... is wmadec still installed, where you put it originally to make it work?

I suspect GJ51's method will solve your problem, regardless.

The transcoder appears to be their.
c:\subsonic\transcode\wmadec.exe

This worked before I upgraded. Also mp3's work fine.

I tried using GJ51's settings but still no luck. The settings that I sent in my first post were the subsonic defaults, I never changed them. Do you have to restart SubSonic for thr transcoder change to take effect?

Thanks again for the help.

Scott

Sorry for the multiple posts.

GJ51's suggestion worked after a restart of SubSonic.

Thanks GJ51 and Kirk for the support.

These posts are a bit dated. If you're using the advice here, then you'll have to put lame.exe into the transcode folder. WMA vbr files can be a bit tricky to get working right. The more details about your platform and what setup your using to do the transcoding, the more likely someone can contribute a helpful answer for you.
