Android: Required String Parameter!

Problem Description: When trying to open a folder from the server, or even open "Recently Added" smartlists, I get an error "Required String Paramenter" followed by either "ID" or "Type" - as per the topic tytle this occurs using the Android app. Otherwise the server is functional and works great in the web interface.
Troubleshooting Steps: Not much has been tried as of yet.
Playback Application and version: Android app connecting to "personal" demo/trial server
Subsonic Version:4.4 build 2172
Server Version: 4.4 build 2172

The Demo server seems to work without exposing this issue, this only seems to be impacting the server I installed, which is still mostly "stock" except I removed the invalid c:\music folder and pointed it to my media folders. At this point my interest in subsonic is for video streaming, that is all I've added to the server, and that is absent from the Demo server, so my first hunch is that it's a video-related issue. I connect to the server over local wifi, but I also have openvpn installed on my phone and I connect to the direct IP while using that.

wow that is embarrassing, noticed a thread has appeared with my exact issue...I'm already donating as it's doing a superior job to ORB even in it's web interface incarnation.
