Subsonic Forum

I've been using Subsonic for just under a year and without many issues. I recently rebuilt my server (FreeNAS) and reinstalled Subsonic. Now, however, I get the error:

Status: xxxxx.subsonic.org is registered, but could not connect to it. (ConnectTimeoutException)

The weird thing is, that if I change it to xxxxx2.subsonic.org I can connect to it just fine locally, remotely, etc.

While this isn't the end of the world, it would be nice to have my original server name back.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sometimes you'll get that message but still be able to connect. Go to Settings/Network and Save your settings. Then test to see if you can connect regardless of the message you received when you save it.

No dice. Connects immediately when it's xxxx2.subsonic.org, but goes through all 4 attempts at xxxx.subsonic.org and then fails.
