Hi

First of all - very nice app/service!

I have a problem, i cannot to my subsonic when i'm not on LAN.
It says my web address is successfully registered and i'm successfully forwarding my port.
On canyouseeme.org it cannot see my service.
So, i have no idea whats wrong, since subsonic doesn't complain about anything.

I have an out going router, and a wireless connected to it.
I have setup port-forwarding on both of them and checked the mark on subsonic. I have tried different combinations, non helps.

Cheers

"On canyouseeme.org it cannot see my service. "

As long as that is true, your port is NOT being forwarded to the Host running SS on that port.

It's always the router.

Glad you got it working.

I agree, although it may not be the routers fault, for example I have a Seagate NAS drive that won't allow me to change ports, so if anything else is using the same port....things can get messy. Nuisance really.

How you doing GJ51, I've seen quite a few of your posts on here.

I'm fine, thank you. We've done a lot of upgrades this year on our network and most of the bugs have been worked out. Subsonic, of course, is a big part of what we're doing, but we've also integrated a pretty stout HTPC with a Ceton 4 tuner adapter for watching and recording TV of our Cable connection. I was also able to get .wtv format to transcode in Subsonic, so that my daughter will be able to watch all her favorite shows on her laptop when she goes off to college in the fall. It's been a long road, but by the end of July when the HD Homerun Prime comes out, every PC in the house will be able to watch or record live TV or anything recorded, as well as everyone having full access to all family media, music, photos, videos, and TV from anywhere inside our network. We also have remote access to everything except live TV thanks in large part to Subsonic and having a server at home running 24/7.

Mostly though, it has been a labor of learning fun for my son and me as I get great joy in watching his skills pass me by in the fast lane. At 16, he runs 10 websites, programs in C#, Java, HTML, and who knows what else. He just negotiated another consulting contract for a law firm today.
