player type when using Android client
Posted: Tue Jul 12, 2011 7:16 amIn player settings, player type is shown as unknown when I am using the Android client. It is a cosmetic point but why it doesn't show something as "android client" ?

This is the name of the player, not the type. There is a specific field for that which one displays for example "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:5.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0" if using Firefox.
Posted: Tue Jul 12, 2011 1:41 pmNow I see it. It does the same thing for an iSub Player. Most likely it is the same for all the mobile players, which are External Players with playlist. I have a defined External player with playlist on my desktop that reports properly so it must be a quirck with mobile players.
