Subsonic Forum

I followed the instructions in the documentation & installed the software on my Mac. The next stage said go to http://localhost:4040 & showed a picture of what I should be greeted with when I went there, a page with settings etc. Instead I got a login page. Obviously I can't login as I've not registered. It's not the same login details as the forum here. There's no link on the page that tells me where or how to register. There's not even a "if you've forgotten your password/username". So as there's nothing in the documentation telling me how to register & nothing on the login page offering me an opportunity to register how do register please?

If Subsonic doesn't start properly you can troubleshoot it by starting it from the command line: /Applications/Subsonic.app/Contents/MacOS/JavaApplicationStub.

try login with name : admin and password : admin

These are the defaults.

I think I too did as instructed. Can log-in to this site but username and password unrecognized in Windows 7 desktop log-in. What did I mess up? Apologies for being such a newbie, but have tried.
