Subsonic eating lots of RAM?

Hey,

First of all SubSonic has quite literally changed my life and how I interact with my music! Thank you, it's the audio player interface I've always wanted but never had.. browsing the file system is what makes sense to me!

One thing I did notice is that for some reason loads of subsonic processes are running all the time on my ubuntu machine and seem to be just sitting there doing nothing, at the time I took this screenshot nobody was logged on to the server:

Is this normal?

thanks,

Cathal.

Um.. what happens if you stop the service? Something is spawning multiple processes. That shouldn't happen.

Here is my process list.. with no users

If I issue a "sudo service subsonic restart" it seems to restart ok and all the processes shown in the screenshot disappear...... however within about 2 seconds they all come back again!

Funny though if I do a "ps aux" I don't see all the processes listed just one.... perhaps I need to look into what htop is actually showing me, are they maybe dead processes and something is up with garbage collection?

Admittedly I'm out of my depth here.... everything is working ok though so not a massive worry.
