Video not found or access denied

Postby MrTissues » Tue Jul 19, 2011 4:38 am

Hello. I am having an issue when I try to stream a movie to my Android phone. I get this error:

"Video not found or access denied"

I am not sure what the problem is because movies stream fine to my laptop.

I actually do get this error when I am on my laptop if I am outside of my LAN network. It seems to happen if I am trying to stream outside of my LAN. Here is the error messages that I get when I try to load a .avi file:

Quite a few ppl are having this issue. What I found to stop getting this is to create a new user. This is the only way I have been able to work around this issue. It is quite annoying if you are like me with numerous users.. but, it is a workaround.

Hope this helps

Has anyone found a durable solution to this? I get the same error.
I've tried several transcoding strings, created new users, all the solutions posted in this thread and others. I get no error, the log shows nothing of interest. (Below fwiw.)

I've got Subsonic standalone installed on FreeBSD 7.2/FreeNAS
