This thread is actually one of the more amusing comedy of errors that I've seen of late! I will take the responsibility on this one, mostly due to the fact that I flung around a singularly British pejorative as someone who was born and raised in the U.S. and thus cannot have a full-spectrum appreciation of the severity/vulgarity of that term elsewhere. It was a poor choice, and what was meant was a simple "twerp" or "rude person" -- upon reflection it clearly has far more insulting connotations than that. So, I apologise.
Re-reading, it was not one of my more-shining moments. I was fully aware the OP was from Netherlands, as I took the time to look at his profile and previous posts before writing the reply. And yet somehow still managed to make a small jab at his English spelling -- considering his country of origin, there was zero point to that either. Maybe that's as good a reason as any for me to avoid posts after midnight -- do I get to claim poor-decisionmaking-via-sleep-deprivation?
What slays me is carbonrough's assumptions re: the septic tank and ten-gallon hat references -- me being in TX. The actual truth is I was born/raised/lived for 22 years in upstate New York (Rochester) -- even after 8 years in TX this place still feels utterly foreign, a whole other country. I frequently make my own goodnatured (usually) potshots at Texan life/attitudes -- having someone direct those at ME caused major synapse misfires in my brain

I'm honestly no more Texan than carbonrough himself likely is (no hometown/origin listed for him, so we're left to speculate).
With all that said, apart from poor word choice I didn't think my reply was all that overly negative or mean -- if it came off as harsh it's because I tend to react a bit more when somebody takes a shot at Sindre personally, which is how that post and title were viewed. Generally if someone just gripes about SS itself I try to just provide help or else ignore it. In the OP's post I saw some rather regrettable shots at, and assumptions about, Sindre that are flat-out incorrect, and did not take kindly to that, especially with last weekend's tragedy still at the forefront of our minds. Unfortunately, I stumbled a bit in doing that so again, for that I apologise. No hard feelings on this end, and hope there are none elsewhere.
As Gary stated, this has long been one of the most constructive and civil forums in which I've have participated as well, and with the most active/helpful developer. Now it's time to get 4.5b2 on server and check out the song-sharing features
Peace, and cheers,
