Constant Server timeout errors - Isub on iphone
Posted: Mon Aug 01, 2011 11:00 pmI've recently started using subsonic to stream music to my iphone using the isub app. The problem is that 90% of the time, when I open the app up and try to connect to my home server I end up getting a timeout error, server not responding, you may not be connected to the internet, etc...
If and when a connection is successfully established I usually have no trouble streaming the whole album. This problem occurs over 3G, but it's also happened connected via a public wifi hotspot.
-I've tried changing ports
-It's not my home pc or internet connection, because I also have audiogalaxy installed and i am always able to connect using that application.
Any ideas? Subsonic is far superior to Audiogalaxy. I really want to get it working.
