Podcasts with special characters in name

Hi,

i have some problems using Podcasts: as far as my understanding is, subsonic creates a subfolder for every podcast in the podcast-mainfolder. The folder-name of this subfolder is depending on the name of the podcast. I have some casts that contain special charaters (for example: |). Subsonic is not able to create a folder with this character (not allowed). Thus podcasts with special characters do not work :( Is there a way to get them running?

Best regards,
Jan

I have not tried the beta, but the current release has not fixed the issue.

It seems as though the bug will have a semi-complicated fix to it. Windows will not allow /\:"<>*?| to be part of folder names. I'm not sure if the same requirement exists in linux or osx. The proper way to fix this would be to catch the character and replace it with something like an underscore or a hyphen - maybe something of the administrators choosing. I'd love to see this fixed, as it breaks several of my podcasts and I can't use subsonic for what I want it to do.
