Stream video files with api

Does anyone knows how to use subsonic api for streaming video with the video tag of html5 ?
I have tried something like this but didn't work...
<video width="320" height="240" controls="controls">
<source src="http://your-server/rest/stream.view?u=joe&p=password&v=1.6.0&c=myapp&id=123456789&format=mp4&size=320x480&suffix=mp4" type="audio/mp4" />
