I'm currently using the version 4.4
My music is in FLAC and transconding to MP3 using the default strings in Subsonic
I'm able to browse the folders in my collection, whether on Android or the web with no issues, Japanese characters in Folders and even the song names are displayed properly. Last.fm also scrobbles them properly, correct artist name and correct song name.
However:
1.) Tags written to the MP3 files are not being written correctly, any Song name in Japanese is showing as ?????? when played with another Android player (I tried ubermusic)
2a.) When doing a search in Android for an artist that has any albums or songs in Japanese I will get this error msg:
- Code: Select all

2b.) When doing the same search in the web interface, I don't get the error msg but any results from the search in Japanese are just blank. See screenshot.
Clicking on any album name not in Japanese brings the tracklist and japanese characters are shown properly. (I'm not able to click on any Japanese titled album since it's not clickable)
Anyway, hoping this gets fixed or if there's a workaround in changing the ffmpeg transcoding settings.[/img]
