Multiple Subsonic Instances?

Postby trickydick » Tue Aug 16, 2011 3:21 pm

Does anyone know a way to have two subsonics running on the same server using the same database? I guess a different database would be fine too. I'm running subsonic on tomcat (with IIS redirect) and everytime I add a second subsonic.war (renamed of course), the host manager starts one but won't start the other. I would like to have two for testing scripts/mods, then the other for production. I would put them on different servers, but i want to be able to access them publically on port 80.
Other Idea:
1.) rename the subsonic database folder and have the new instance access that one (is it possible?)
2.) Hosting a virtual server on hyper-v. then rediercting IIS new domain/subsdomain to the virtual server addrress

Any ideas?
