Sound glitching while downloading (android)

With the android app there was a problem way back in earlier versions where if songs were downloading playback would skip constantly. Now it's back again except instead of just "skipping" as in sound would cut out for a split second or two it now has this horrible glitching/stuttering sound that can last for a whole second or two. Anyone else have this problem? Sindre, can you fix this please?

I've been having this occasionally on android as well starting very recently. Same horrible glitching sound and then skips to the next song.
