Not Scrobbling to Last.fm - Ubuntu

Hi!

I've been using using Subsonic for some time and I really love it!

Recently I've started using Last.fm and I would like to scrobble my music to it. Subsonic is installed in a Ubuntu machine. It scrobbles if I play my music from the other machine using Windows or from my Android phone but I can't make it scrobble if I play music on the same machine where the server is (through the web player) or if I use another Ubuntu machine... Is there anything that I can do to solve this? Does any one else have this issue?
